Who we are
This website is operated by Calgary Carpentry, a carpentry and millwork business serving Calgary and the surrounding area in Alberta, Canada.

What we collect
We collect only what you actively give us. If you submit the estimate or contact form, that is your name, and whichever of email address and phone number you provide, plus any optional details you choose to add — service of interest, timeline, budget band, community or postal code, and your message.
We also record that you consented to be contacted, and the time your submission was received.
Why we collect it
To reply to your enquiry, prepare an estimate, and carry out work you engage us for. We do not use your details for anything else. We do not add you to a mailing list, we do not sell or rent your information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Analytics
Analytics is not currently enabled on this site. No third-party analytics or advertising scripts are loaded. If that changes, this section will be updated before any tracking is switched on.
We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking pixels, or third-party remarketing tags.
How your information is protected
The site is served entirely over HTTPS. Form submissions are validated and sanitised on the server, rate-limited to prevent abuse, and protected by anti-spam checks. Credentials for our email provider are held as server-side environment variables and are never exposed to the browser.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are retained for as long as needed to respond and, where you become a client, for as long as required for the project record and any applicable legal or tax obligation. You can ask us to delete your information at any time and we will do so unless we are legally required to retain it.
Your rights
Under Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act you have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have inaccurate information corrected, to withdraw consent, and to request deletion. Contact us and we will respond within the timeframe the legislation requires.
Children
This site is intended for adults arranging home improvement work. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes to how we handle information will be described here rather than made quietly.
